Canning formerly served as managing director of high-yield trading at Fleet Securities, a subsidiary of FleetBoston Financial.
He earned his bachelor’s degree in finance at Boston College and his M.B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania.
According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 265 home sales in New Canaan during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $1.2 million.
