Maxwell Wiesen was born in New York City, raised in Scarsdale, N.Y., and spent his summers sailing on Long Island Sound in his father’s Rhodes 19 sailboat. For the past 17 years, Wiesen has joyously pursued his third career as a Realtor in Greenwich after several years teaching as an instructor of English literature and creative writing at University of Cincinnati. He was also previously the head of sales for a merchandising company in Manhattan.
Wiesen said he has sold a total of more than 200 properties, including mansions, condos and multi-family and single-family homes. .
Wiesen is quite fond of dogs and tropical fish and maintains a committed relationship with hobbies such as oil-painting and poetry. He also gardens in his free time and sails the Long Island Sound.
