Joanne Gorka is a Realtor with roots in Westchester, N.Y. She lives in central Greenwich with her 17-year-old son and their dog and walking companion, Sophie. She has two older children: a daughter who is married and bought her first home in Greenwich and a son who lives in Brooklyn.
Gorka started her real estate career in 1991 in Westchester and came to Greenwich to sell in 1999. Prior to working in real estate, she worked in sales for Xerox.
Gorka specializes in location, not property type. She said she works generally with Greenwich residential properties in a variety of price ranges and that she loves the various property types available in the area—from co-ops to estates, from the waterfront to the backcountry.
She said she also enjoys her diverse profile of clients, which includes first-time buyers, investors and people making life changes.
