A self-described “HGTV junkie,” Deirdre McGovern eats, lives and breathes Connecticut real estate.
“I lived in Darien for 19 years and been a resident of Fairfield County for more than 20 years,” she said. “I love Connecticut.”
In 2011, McGovern used her two favorite passions to become one of the top producers at William Raveis. Before her real estate career, McGovern worked in public relations and marketing communications for Revlon and Springs Industries. She noted making the transition to the realty industry was seamless.
In addition to an agent, McGovern is the director of business development for the Darien office. This past fall, she, with Bill Raveis, chairman of William Raveis, presented YMCA Darien/Norwalk a donation of $30,000 as part of the realtor firm’s sponsorship of the YWCA’s upcoming fundraising events.
McGovern also serves on the YMCA board. She is also heavily involved with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. McGovern is a graduate of Iona College and is a mother of three sons.
