A native of New York, Melanie Healey returned to Stamford 19 years ago and now lives in Springdale. She owns and manages NewBridge International Realty, a local boutique real estate agency in downtown Stamford.
“I began my real estate career 19 years ago,” she said. “Prior to real estate, believe it or not, I was a radio announcer.”
NewBridge was recently ranked as the second-highest producing independently owned real estate agency in Stamford. By offering a full-service, 3.75 percent total commission package, their business increased by 51 percent last year.
Healy, who has four children, said she is an activist and enjoys spending her free time fighting for environmental causes.
